Bristol OpenCoffee

The OpenCoffeeClub seems to be going from strength to strength. If you haven’t heard of OCC and you are an entrepreneur or looking to invest some money the you should get right on over to the Ning based “social network” and sign yourself up and find the nearest OpenCoffee to you.

We’ve been attending the Bristol one since it started a few weeks ago. There has been a small turnout so far, but it’s informal and nice to talk to other people interested in our industry. Bristol’s OCC has been set up by the very nice man Simon Bunker over at Bang the drum

We’ve decided to use the Watershed as the meeting point at 6pm, (instead of the ungodly 8am), which serves us well, although really now it should be called the “OpenBeerClub”…

The next meet is on the 17th May@ The Watershed , and there’s rumor that Ryan Carson of Carson Systems will be making an appearance, which would be great.

I hope to see you there.

Please tell me it wasn’t you that coined it the OCC!? That surely has to be a fine for the web 2.0 box!

You can check out a good write up on Mike Coulter’s blog at “:”http://digitalagency.typepad.com/digitalagency/2007/05/bristol_roundup.html”:http://digitalagency.typepad.com/digitalagency/2007/05/bristol_roundup.html to see how the Bristol OCC (See I’m doing it already) went the other night.
